Host Comedian – Joe Bor

Joe is an energetic observational character comedian, whose act consists of anecdotes from working in a school to his impressions of rugby players. Joe has written and starred in the sketch show 'Oi Over Here' which played at The Pleasance Theatre in Edinburgh 2005 and is being developed for TV. ''Bor has a convincing natural stage presence and comedic skill that keeps even the most stubborn audience members happy throughout his unfortunately short set.'' Three Weeks.

Opening Comedian – Johnny Kats

Johnny Kats began performing Stand Up in Australia and is now based in the UK. Johnny performs in all major comedy clubs across the UK and also performs regularly across continental Europe.

In 2004 he was awarded first prize in- "So you think you're funny" and "Angling for a laugh" which sent him to New York City where he supported Dave Chappelle at the Boston Comedy Club.

Mark Maier has been in the comedy game so long – and is so good at it – he’s even been running courses in the art since 1994.  Having taught improvisational comedy in London and founded the group MadLib, he is a regular of the world renowned Comedy Store Players, alongside the likes of Josie Lawrence, Jim Sweeney and Paul Merton. A multi-talented, mercurial comedian, he retains an edge that still makes him one of the most must-see acts on the circuit. A familiar face on TV and radio, he has written and appeared for such diverse shows as Dating The Enemy, Edinburgh Nights, Rory Bremner, Quando Quando Quando and The Sunday Service.
