Host Comedian – Joe Rowntree

An ace performer and writer composing put-downs for Anne Robinson on the Weakest Link

Graduating from Goldsmiths College (University of London) in 2003 with a BSc Hons in Psychology, Joe spends his days delivering inspirational and educational courses in goal mapping, mind mapping and accelerated learning techniques. In the evenings, Joe works as a man of mirth, trading his surreal observations for laughter, performing in some of the most prestigious and reputable comedy clubs in and around London and across the UK. Recently he has completed presenting a UK Tour of Brainiac Live after appearing in all 6 series of the award winning hit TV show Brainiac: Science Abuse (Sky One) which saw him take part in live and highly dangerous scientific experiments.

Rory O’ Hanlon is a Dublin based standup comedian who observational style of  comedy has made him a instant hit with crowds up and down the Country. Rory plays and emcees every venue in Ireland from the world famous comedy cellar, the international comedy club the laughter lounge, the empire Belfast to citylimits in cork. while also becoming a firm favorite across the water in the legendary stand venues in both Glasgow and Edinburgh  where he’s has played at the best of Irish at the Edinburgh fringe.

For the last 3 years while also making a great reputation as one of the hardest working comedians on the circuit the future looks very bright for this likeable Dubliner.

Paul tried his hand as a bird-scarer, chimney sweep, musician, playwright, pornographer, stage hand and primary school teacher before turning to stand-up comedy on the advice of his therapist. Paul's distinctive skewed view of the world informs his black ‘sub–urban’ comedy. His intelligent humour focuses not only on sharp observations from life, but also racial, cultural and satirical subject, intermingled with strangle tales of ordinary madness
