Host Comedian –

Colin Owens
"A comedian who's star is set to shine brightly" Guardian

Colin did his first stand-up comedy gig in May 2005 and in July 05 won the hotly contested Jimmy Carr Comedy Idol Competition, winning a support slot at Bloomsbury Theatre, a part on Jimmy Carr's new DVD and a couple of TV appearances doing sketches with Jimmy. Colin also worked live with the Mighty Boosh guys, including performing at their Boosh Festival in 2008. Described as 'laconic and charming', Colin talks about his failings, inadequacies, mistakes and general stupidity, all tinged with an air of paranoia and insecurity but delivered with supreme confidence and sexual edginess! Sounds like a proper mish-mash, but is charming and funny.

Opening Comedian –

Steve Day
Abnormally Funny People (Sky), The Sound Barrier (BBC), Natural Born Talent (Ch4)

Steve Day is a truly unique comedian - warm, witty and engaging whilst dealing with the dilemmas of being a deaf man in a hearing world. His stories of multiple children, wearing a suit and the problems caused by not knowing how words are pronounced will have audiences in raptures, and his uplifting tales of overcoming the obstacles in his path will leave crowds feeling inspired.

Headline Comedian –

Anthony King
Mad for It (ITV), House of Fun (Meridian), Live at Jongleurs (UK Gold)

Anthony King is an outwardly normal looking bloke who turned to comedy after he was disowned by the Catholic Church for confessing in too much detail. His droll deadpan humour and masterful timing allow him to deliver a stream of one-liners on a combination of his own true-life experiences and a "whole bunch of lies". On TV, he has appeared on ‘Mad for It’ for ITV, Meridian’s ‘House of Fun’ and UK Gold's Live At Jongleurs. An equally successful writer, Anthony was chosen by ITV to be part of The Comedy Factory, a team of comedians handpicked to produce new comedy for the stations commercial channels
