Host Comedian – Gareth Berliner

Irresistibly amiable, Gareth's act touches on his odd life and perspective. Berliner almost died long before ever becoming a stand-up and this affords him the ability to tell some intricately woven anecdotes and sharply crafted gags with an edge.

In 2005 he used this edge when he performed his first Solo show GUTLESS, covering every subject from Superheroes to Suicide, at The Melbourne Comedy Festival before taking it to the Edinburgh festival and receiving 4 stars from The Metro. He then went on to perform the show at The Adalaide Comedy Festival as well as at a corporate level elsewhere in the UK. He also works with Abnormally Funny People in a show that has toured universities around the UK as well as having a sell-out run at The Soho Theatre in London’s West-End.

Irish comedian and actor Paddy Lennox first burst on to stage as a Stand-Up in 2001 only to be interrupted with a couple of comedies at the Shakespeare Globe Theatre and filming in far off lands, before returning to his new found passion. An engaging and instantly likeable comic, Paddy combines topical material with observational routines. Paddy’s had a great start to 2008, he's been working the corporate scene including gigs for the BBC, ITV and Jysk (the new Ikea!), and he’s also featured on Sky Poker and Talk sport Radio. Headline Comedian – Mike McClean

Mike McLean has hosted numerous television shows for the BBC, ITV, C4, C5, Sky1 & Nickelodeon and excels at live TV.

He originally trained as an actor, at the Arden School of Theatre in Manchester. However, after leaving college Mike gravitated towards stand-up comedy and quickly broke onto the circuit with a comedy magic act. He was soon spotted by a TV producer from Nickelodeon and went on to front several shows for the channel, including "Nick AM", a live daily breakfast show. He later joined ITV to present the kids game show "It's Not Fair", followed by 2 series of "Mad for It", a live children's show, he devised, for ITV. In 2010 Mike returned to his acting routes, playing 'Father Tony' in "Shameless". Previous cameos had included 'Club Host' in "The Office Christmas Special".
