Host ComedianDavid Whitney
“He’s got a well-defined sense of comedy which guarantees laughs. Genuine spirit of fun.” – Chortle
Born in Aberdeen into an army family, David grew up all over the world on various army camps. He went to a military college himself with a view to serving in the British Army but, just before going to Sandhurst, he chickened out and went to drama school instead. Years later he was working in Los Angeles when, due to a string of lies he had been trying to impress girls with, he found himself performing his first stand up comedy gig at the Friars Club in Beverly Hills. Since then he has not looked back and now plays some of the biggest clubs in the UK. David is also an accomplished bagpiper and, not someone who shies away from big performances, David by personal request played at Gwen Stefani’s wedding.

Opening ComedianNeil McFarlane
BBC New Comedy Awards Semi Finalist
Lately gigging in the north of England, Nail McFarlane has been inspiring widespread panic. Relentlessly and unspeakably middle class, Neil has given up claiming in his act that he comes from Glasgow because he actually comes from Bearsden, which is a posh suburb of that city and therefore doesn't count. He has a reasonable day job, comes from a very secure and stable background with a good education and a high standard of living, and his parents are both still alive and happily married - all of which, from the perspective of artistic integrity and creative angst, are matters of intense irritation to him.

Headline ComedianMartin Coyote
Martin Coyote is a Prolific Writer: Bring Me the Head of Light Entertainment, Loose Talk & The Treatment
A true unsung hero of British comedy, Martin Coyote has been at the top of the game for more than a decade. Exuding a warmth and laddish charm, he generates a rare response from comedy audiences - they genuinely like him. A pivotal member of the Comedy Store's flagship topical show, The Cutting Edge, he is also a prolific writer, whose credits include Bring Me The Head Of Light Entertainment, Loose Talk and Radio Five’s The Treatment. Martin has also appeared alongside Lee Hurst on three highly successful UK tours.
